Note: Students earning a major in Communication may not also minor in Communication Studies.
This minor focuses on the study of human communication with regard to public speaking, politics, culture, and theory, with one additional elective chosen from areas such as popular culture, gender, organizational communication, nonverbal communication, research methods, and interpersonal or family communication. A total of 15 hours are required from the following courses:

Students must also complete 3 credit hours from the following courses: COMM 301, COMM 310, COMM 331, COMM 380, COMM 390, COMM 447, COMM 470, COMM 475, COMM 477, or COMM 493
