Financial Aid for Music

The Department of Music annually awards different types of financial assistance to music and non-music majors. These awards are generally in the form of scholarships, fee waivers for private lessons and dormitory room grants.

The band and choir each award substantial stipends to participants. These stipends are awarded based upon the vocal or instrumental needs of the ensembles, and may be renewed. Music stipends are based on participation, and do not affect other forms of financial aid.

Additional Resources of other financial aid assistance such as federal grant and work-study money can be obtained through the Office of Financial Aid or the Office of Development's Guide to Scholarships.

ENMU also awards University-wide scholarships to students who achieve superior academic skills and high ACT or SAT scores.

The Department of Music at Eastern New Mexico University has been an accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Music since 1960.
