Interdisciplinary Art

Interdisciplinary Art focuses upon building knowledge in both two-dimensional and three-dimensional materials. The student explores interdisciplinary approaches to art incorporating various media. Facilities are available for ceramics, computer art and animation, drawing, painting, jewelry, performance art, photography, printmaking, and sculpture.

The program in Interdisciplinary Art exposes students to a variety of studio disciplines, fostering experiences that help expand the students' visual ideas. Courses also address the profession of art outside the studio - including such topics as marketing strategies, grant writing, public art, ethical issues, portfolio development, gallery, and career directions.
